Hawthorn is a plant widely distributed throughout the eastern part of Europe including the former Yugoslavia, Poland,Hungary and China. Each part of Hawthorn are good for our health. Such as hawthorn fruits, hawthorn flowers and hawthorn leaves all have been using for making medicine for thousand years. Nowadays, extracts of hawthorn leaves,berries or flowers are broadly used in supplements, cosmetics, functional food and beverage etc.

Flavonoids and OPC are regarded as active constituents of hawthorn.

Hawthorn extracts is an herbal preventive and therapeutic agent for cardiac insufficiency. It improves the efficiency of the heart by increasing blood supply to the heart muscle so the heart is able to pump more blood to the body. Hawthorn lowers the resistance to blood flow in peripheral vessels.
